I provided Provost Jenny Turpin with two handouts at the beginning of today's meeting. One is named SOE Summer Snapshot and it lists faculty international experiences and local school-based developments that have been developed since meeting with Jenny in April 2010. The other document is named SOE Research Snapshot. This really is a "snapshot" document and is not intended to completely capture all faculty activity. The snapshot document provides info on peer-reviewed journal articles and peer-reviewed conference presentations from 2007 through April 2010.
A couple of special notes. All credit for the SOE Research Snapshot document goes to the Learning & Instructional program assistant Linsey Wirt who did a fantastic job of getting all references into APA format. All blame for scholarly activity not included rests with me (Mathew). Please understand, however, that we only wanted to capture and share a portion of our collective research activity.
Now that we have a decent Research Snapshot it should be straightforward to update it every year. At some point in the future I'd also like to include a short paragraph statement from each person describing their research agenda. (This will be placed below their name, but above the actual references for an individual.)
